Bio-inspired Structures for Better Integrity and Durability (BiS-BID)

Research project financed by UEFISCDI
contract nr. 55PCE/03.01.2025, PN-IV-P1-PCE-2023-1446
Project manager: Prof. Liviu MARSAVINA
Implementation period: January 2025 - December 2028

About BiS-BID
The project will induce a paradigm shift in the way we think of fatigue design, by fully exploiting biomimetic and bio-inspiration as a driving force in the design process (main scientific objective). A new and low-cost approach will be developed for designing smart optimized structures ideally fatigueless (engineering objective).
From nature to innovation in structural integrity
Our passion is to innovate
